Who are you and why did you start your business?
I am Deja Howard, a 26-year-old mother of a 2-year-old son. I am from Jersey, but currently located in NC. I am the owner of Howard of all Trades. Howard of all Trades is a consulting business that empowers beauty professionals to build business credit, boost their bank accounts, and have confidence in their finances. I started this business while I was pregnant with my son because I could no longer handle doing lashes because of severe back pain and dizzy spells. Through learning about credit and diving into finance literacy, I discovered the missing pieces I didn’t have when I was running my beauty business. Upon this discovery I realized I always wanted beauty to be a part of me and have since dedicated myself to helping those who I resonate with.
What can we look forward to from you and your brand/business in the near future?
I will be dropping a beauty and brains course on 2/2 with lessons in building business credit, fixing personal credit, properly structuring your business, different beauty income stream guides, and so much more. I will also be dropping a mentorship later on in the year that is more hands on and in depths.
